On August 12th, exotic cars and exotic culture collided when 33 of Washington's elite automotive enthusiasts journeyed together on a 7 course culinary adventure to experience the magic of Morocco at Marrakesh - Washington DC's premier exotic dining destination.As guests of Marrakesh, all attendees enjoyed the following events:Pre-Meet & CruiseAttendees gathered at Starbucks Tyson's corner to receive a registration pack containing admission materials and to prepare for a caravan down to Marrakesh. Motors in Marrakesh - ParkingGuests enjoyed refreshments as they celebrate the automotive gathering at the restaurants parking lot. Parking was exclusively reserved with dedicated security staff for our guests during the entire event.DinnerParticipants experienced a full 7 course Moroccan feast, served in Marrakesh's spectacular setting.*Refreshments were served by the staff as the vehicles entered the lot.EntertainmentBeautiful Belly dancers showcased their talent throughout the night
CostAs guests of Marrakesh, all attendees enjoy ed the nights events at no cost. SelectionParticipation was limited to 35 high performance and exotic vehicles, and therefore attendance was be selective. Invited Marques & models include (but not limited to) Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Lotus, Lamborghini, Viper, Aston Martin, GT-R, Ford GT, Mercedes AMG & BMW M vehicles.Participants were each welcome to invite 1 guest.All participants and guests were required to be pre-registered to attend the event. This allowed for the accurate headcount/issuance of tickets, reservation of your parking space, table and meals.Upon registration and acceptance, a space was secured and an email sent to with confirmation of acceptance to the event. A registration pack containing admission materials was provided at the Tyson's pre-meet.

"Then we headed inside for dinner. It almost feels strange calling Marrakesh a restaurant. It should really be called The Marrakesh Experience. Even without the car show component (which was a special event), dinner itself was an experience of its own. It was a wonderful collection of multiple courses that included some of the best chicken Ive ever had in my life."
"Marrakesh Restaurant is one of the nations best known Moroccan restaurants. Open since 1982, patrons return again and again to the New York Avenue establishment for a total Moroccan experience.Diners are treated to a restaurant without windows as the walls are all painted to reflect the beautiful country. Eating is done on comfy pillows and youre allowed to bring out your inner wild child and eat with your hands. Think Jennifer Anistons character in Along Came Polly, except hopefully without the sweaty date."
